GUIDES
I got a refurbished Apple Watch from ebay which was really good and worked fine for years
No a deal they already been discounted so your not saving anymore from the products on eBay
False economy. Some of these items are far cheaper new from elsewhere.
E.g Shark vaccum cleaner. £99 from Amazon and Argos... AND NEW.
LD need to do a little more due diligence before submitting these deals and suckage down people's throats.
The price looks okay but I am afraid to buy refurbished gadgets on ebay incase they wont last long so its a waste of money.
PoTpuree I purchased a refurb laptop from ebay a couple of years back and it's shown no issues whatsoever. I'd rather that than 2nd hand as more risk that way and not everyone can afford new either. Most reputable sellers will offer a warranty too.
PoTpuree eBay give you a money back Guarantee if anything goes wrong so you really can’t lose am buying a iPhone on their now can’t go wrong with it.
Guarantee's are not worth the paper they are written on.
If you can use it there is normally a catch like they will say something like...Water damage which is not covered, most not all mobile company's normally use that excuse even if there is no water what so ever.
So be a where they will try every trick in the book not to replace or repair phones.
thank you for sharing. always a bit skeptical about buying technology online especially eBay so be careful
AlcioneTD True. I read Music Magpie can be a nightmare.
I bought an Asus VivoBook 17 from a private seller and had no issues with it, I actually use it to watch YouTube, movies, and shows from it. 17" is a good size for a handheld monitor.
That Dell laptop with 8GB RAM is a very good option for anyone wanting a budget computer on the go.
PhilipMarc looking into it, it doesn't look like good value for the spec - see my comment below. A more recent Chromebook or newer budget laptop might be a better option depending on your needs
Great deal, very handy when you have teenagers to buy for, I have 3 !! Can be very expensive at Xmas & birthdays!!
There some good deals here, refurbished can be the way forward with some of the warranties
I've never bought any kind of refurbished electrical items before, but I'd definitely give it a go next time I'm in the market for one.
There's some really great deals on here. Refurbished items are definitely worth considering. Thanks for sharing.
The new ones are really expensive and it is great idea to purchase refurbished / used ones. Thank you
I need an iPad for my daughter as she needs to do homework. It would be great to order one from here.
I bought some refurbished skullcandy ear pods last year and they’re great. Better than my Raycons that I bought new if I’m honest
Reading the description it says “have moderate cosmetic markings such as denting, scuffs and scratching”, battery life will vary depending on previous use. The price is fair, but I’m out. I prefer (for this price) to see what I’m buying.
I was always sceptical about buying refurbished products, but now they give guarantees it's worth considering.
Fantastic deal! Comes in handy when you have a few teenagers ! I love this & it’s very helpful, thankyou!
It's not right quoting the RRP on such old devices, it makes them look like more of a bargain than they are.
The Dell laptop is quoted with a 6th generation processor, which was released 7 years ago. This is old tech. Their performance and power consumption will be worse than many modern 'budget spec' processors. It also only appears to have a 1366x768 resolution monitor, which is very poor by modern standards, and not really great for 2015 when it was released
Sorry to be a bit negative but Latest Deals can be pretty poor at not highlighting some of this important detail. It may push members to buy something thinking it's a bargain when in reality it's old tech at a not particularly cheap price
emmabeckz I'm sure you wouldn't want people buying products that aren't good value for them - is there a way to highlight how old devices are, and make it clear the RRP from 2015 is not a fair judge in 2022?
SkyUK Fair point.
A couple of months ago I bought this Asus notebook for £160 from eBay, while on Argos it cost £270 (now bumped up to £330), but let me tell you it's not worth that money at all. It's a budget notebook which requires some tweaking to get it to function normally.
The notebook with its default OS (Windows 10 Home), was slow, choppy, and tedious, though after formatting and installing Windows 10 Enterprise LTSC it's pretty decent. I'm sure it's capable of running old games that aren't demanding and I'm okay with that.
For gaming, I prefer to use gaming consoles instead (PS2, PS3, Xbox 360, Wii for GCN), anyway.
I recently bought a couple of oldies on Steam and GOG since I really want to play them some time later (Sonic 3D Blast and then apply the Director's Cut to it, FlatOut, Outlaws + A Handful of Missions). And Counter Strike: Condition Zero since it has a story mode.
Dell latitude laptops offer with intel processors below 8th gen (all in that listing) do not officially run Windows 11.
Registry hack is needed to install on these laptops and it may stop receiving updates for that reason (Microsoft official).
I sell & buy regular, always ensure I read reviews. If in doubt, don't proceed with the purchase!
