This is a slow low power laptop. The only way its going to run decently is by debloating the operating system which can be quite technical although not that difficult. It's likely to have good battery life but its performance in its stock configuration is going to be slow. It could be a good option for you but most people would be better off with a more powerful laptop especially if its just going to be used around the home socket to socket.
