Philips consumer lifestyle
This division of the company was formed in 2008 with the merger of Philips Consumer Electronics and Philips Domestic Appliances and Personal care. The company was split in divisions during the 90s because of massive growth. Philips Consumer Electronics has most of the Consumer Electronics but other products like its shavers were placed under the Domestic Appliance division.
Philips is no longer involved directly in the manufacturing of TV sets since 2012 because of its outsourcing of a joint venture with TPV Technology called TP Vision.
